Margaret Goodie (President) Margaret has been involved with Safety House in the Knox Region for over 20 years.
Lee Robinson (Vice President) Lee is a Life Member and no longer representing a local area but continues to contribute at a state level. He is a keen cyclist who regularly competes in long distance events.
Sue Liersch (Treasurer) Sue works as a pre-school assistant and represents the Geelong area. She has a primary school aged son.
Helen Elston Helen is active in the Mt Eliza area and works in the secondary school system.
Di Dendle Di is also from Geelong. She is a grade 5/6 teacher and her practical and theoretical expertise in relation to education practices is always appreciated.
Mark Gardner Mark is also from the Knox area and he has been involved since his grownup children were first in primary school.
Sergeant Wendy Cowling Wendy is the official liaison member between the Victoria Police and the Association and is stationed at the Youth Affairs office. As a parent of two teenage girls Wendy is kept busy but still finds time to volunteer with Little Athletics.
Bryan Holman Bryan is a manager with ESTA, the communications provider for all the emmergency services. Bryan brings a high level of business management and computer skills to the team and his imput is invaluable.

Meet the staff
Meet our friendly staff. They are the people who answer the phone when you call and help you with your enquires. Often you will never meet them face-to-face so here's a chance for you to meet them and find out a little about each of them.
Alice Dawkins has been the Executive Director for the past two years but many of our member will know her as she commenced with the Association in 1997 as the Community Education Officer. Prior to joining the Safety House Program Alice spent 12 years with the Victoria Police including eight years in community policing.
Sue is the office manager and works part time, three days a week. Sue has twin teenage boys, a dog, cows, chooks and comes to work to escape! Please contact Sue if you need assistance with your accounts or if your local committe needs any advice at all.
Catherine is our newest staff member and is full time. Cat has a 7 year old son and has previously worked in the not for profit area. She is a whiz on the computer and has started many of the tasks that previously there have not been enough hours in the day for Sue and Alice to get to. Look out for the new resources that Cat has started organising and please contact her if you have any questions about IMA, the trailer or any current resources.
Stephanie is currently 3rd year into completing a Bachelor of Education(Secondary)/Bachelor of Arts at Deakin University, majoring in Psychology and linguistics. Stehanie works one day a week and looks after the police checks.
Emma McEvoy is a young freelance designer and photographer who is currently assisting us with developing the STREETSKILLS resources and website.
Leanne Barsby is a member of Safety House Assoc of Queensland Inc and a volunteer for the Victorian Safety House Program as she spends considerable time in Victoria each year. Leanne has an extensive business and administration background as well as import/export experience so her assistance is being employed in the hunt for new resources! |
