Recruitment Tips

  • Fundraising for your local Safety House Group, such as holding BBQ's, trivia nights, stalls or raffles, not
only raises valuable money for your Group, but also promotes your Safety House Group to the public.
Events suchs as these also aids in the recruitment of new members to your Group by promoting the
    positives of Safety House.
  • Put recruiting adds in your local school's newsletter or local newspaper asking for Group members.
  • Hold an information night at the beginning of the year for Prep parents to promote the Safety House
    Program and your Group.
  • Leave a few of "The Safety House Program" brochures in your local school office or reception area for visiting parents to take. The brochure explains the Safety House Program and has a recruitment form on the back so they can join the local Group. Contact us on (03) 9775 0099 if you require some brochures.
  • Hire some of our Safety House videos to show the children at local schools. Often children go home and tell their parents about the Program and this prompts parents to join the Group.
